Film information

Story: Drama following the residents of a small town and how they are affected by the accidental death of a young child. Single dad Ethan (Thomas Dekker) and his son Nate (Ameko Eks Mass Carroll) take a trip out into the wilderness one day in the snow. Upon noticing a herd of deer, Ethan decides to leave his son asleep in the car while he goes out to have a look. Although only gone a few minutes, when he gets back Nate is missing from the car, beginning a search and rescue effort which comes to a tragic halt the next day when he is found frozen to death in the snow. As Ethan is then arrested by the local District Attorney (Jeremy Piven) for negligence resulting in the death of his son, the whole town is rocked by the events and are faced with deciding where the blame lies.
