Film information
Story: Comedy starring Eddie Murphy as a consummate liar who gets his comeuppance. Literary agent Jack McCall (Murphy) has always played fast and loose with the truth. But when he tries to pull a fast one on a spiritual guru, he finds himself placed under an elaborate curse. In his garden he finds a very special Bodhi tree with exactly one thousand leaves. Every time he utters a word, one leaf will fall from the tree - and when the tree is bare, Jack's number will be up. All kinds of misunderstandings and complications ensue as Jack is struck dumb and the web of lies that held his life together begins to unravel.
