Story: This concert from the opening night at Carnegie Hall 2008 celebrates the music of the great American composer Leonard Bernstein. Christine Ebersole, Dawn Upshaw, Thomas Hampson, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Symphonic Orchestra of San Francisco, under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas, perform pieces from 'West Side Story', 'On the Town', 'Mass', 'Trouble in Tahiti', 'Songfest' and 'Fancy Free'.
