Film information

Story: 1930s romantic comedy starring Ginger Rogers and Walter Connolly. Businessman Alfred Borden (Connolly) is having trouble both at home and at work. Finding himself home alone on his birthday, which his adulterous wife and his two children seem to have forgotten about, Alfred heads to Central Park where he meets a young unemployed woman named Mary Grey (Rogers). He decides to employ Mary, getting her to pretend to be his mistress in the hopes that his family will take notice of him again.
