Film information

Story: Triple-bill of classic Hollywood westerns. In the comedy western 'McLintock!' (1963) embattled cattle baron George Washington McLintock (John Wayne) faces competition from the government, from homesteaders hoping to farm his land, and from his estranged wife (Maureen O'Hara), who walked out on him two years ago and now wants a divorce. In 'Robin Hood of the Pecos' (1941) Gabby Hayes and Roy Rogers play mysterious strangers operating in post-Civil War Texas, who rob from the rich to give to the poor and who come up against unscrupulous local official Ballard (Cy Kendall). 'Public Cowboy No. 1' (1937) stars musical cowboy Gene Autry as a deputy sheriff in a rapidly changing west, where cattle rustler communicate by short-wave radio and use a fleet of trucks to move the stolen herds. Can Autry's old-fashioned skills solve the case and bring the rustlers to justice?
