Based on: An alleged true story

Story: Steven Spielberg's comedy is set in the paranoid Hollywood community during World War Two, when Tinseltown braced itself for an imminent attack by the Japanese just three days after America's attack on Pearl Harbour. A power cut and an enemy submarine sighting add to the panic. John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Nancy Allen star.
