Film information
Based on: The novel by Robert MacLeod
Story: Jim Brown, Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch star in this late-1960s action Western set in turn-of-the-century Mexico. Reynolds plays Yaqui Joe, an Indian who robs a bank in order to buy guns for his repressed people, and subsequently flees to Mexico pursued by American lawman Sheriff Lyedecker (Brown). After both men are captured by the vicious Mexican army they eventually become allies, and team up with guerilla fighter Sarita (Welch) to fight for the cause of the Indians.
